Empowering teachers. Inspiring learners.
Specialist Computing support, Professional Learning (CPD) and pupil workshops that build confidence, boost engagement and prepare pupils for a digital future.
Technology only makes a difference when staff feel confident and pupils are inspired.
Our Education teams bring hands-on experience, subject expertise and real classroom understanding to help schools get the most from their digital tools and their computing curriculum.
We support teachers, subject leaders, multi-academy trusts and local authorities with practical, high-impact professional learning and engaging pupil experiences.

What We Do
Professional Learning (CPD)
Practical, classroom-focused training that helps teachers build confidence with computing, digital tools and educational technology — at a pace that works for them.
Pupil Workshops
Hands-on days using LEGO, VEX, micro:bit and physical computing to spark curiosity and develop problem-solving and coding skills.
Curriculum Support
Curriculum reviews, planning support, subject leader guidance and long-term development pathways aligned with the latest computing expectations.
AI in Education
Training for staff on safe, effective classroom use of generative AI, aligned with DfE guidance and school safeguarding protocols.
Coding Clubs & Enrichment
Support for establishing after-school clubs, local competitions and enrichment events that widen access to digital skills.

Staff Training
Sustained Professional Learning Programmes
We don’t offer one-off “tick-box” sessions. They rarely change practice and they don’t build confidence.
Our approach is different — long-term, structured, year-long development programmes that give teachers time to practise, reflect and genuinely grow in their understanding of computing.
Each programme includes hands-on training, practical tasks, follow-up support and clear progression throughout the year.

RoarTech YouTube Channel
Our YouTube channel hosts practical tutorials, walkthroughs and digital learning tips for teachers, covering classroom tools, computing ideas and edtech strategies.
It’s a growing library designed to support staff in their own time, with short, clear and classroom-ready videos.
In-School CPD
Bespoke professional learning sessions tailored to the needs of individual schools or trusts.
RoarTech School Benefits
Enhanced support, CPD access, curriculum guidance and early notice of funded opportunities.
Digital Apprenticeships
Pathways in Digital Educator, Digital Leader and Digital Support — supporting long-term workforce development with our training provider.

Pupil Workshops & Events

LEGO Education Workshops
Hands-on robotics and engineering sessions that build problem-solving, collaboration and computational thinking through creative, curriculum-linked challenges.
Robotics Workshops
Engaging, practical robotics activities using age-appropriate platforms to introduce pupils to automation, sensors, sequencing and real-world problem solving.
Micro:bit Workshops
Practical coding and physical computing days that explore a wide range of programming concepts — inputs, outputs, conditionals, variables, data handling and digital creativity.
Workshops can link to multiple curriculum topics including science, geography, sustainability, D&T and wider thematic units.
Yearly Computing Competition
Our annual Computing Competition for Year 6 challenges pupils across the full breadth of the computing curriculum.
Each year brings a brand-new theme where teams tackle tasks involving digital creativity, logical thinking, problem-solving, information technology and computational thinking.
It’s an exciting, high-energy way to celebrate computing across the school.
Coding Clubs & Enrichment
Support for setting up sustainable coding and robotics clubs using Scratch, Micro:bit, LEGO projects and more — helping schools build regular, meaningful enrichment opportunities.
Curriculum & Leadership Support
Curriculum Reviews
Deep dive into your current computing provision — coverage, progression, resources and readiness.
Subject Leader Development
Guidance for new and experienced leads: planning, assessment, leadership tools and policy support.
Digital Strategy & Cloud Adoption
Support for schools and trusts developing or refining their digital strategy, SharePoint adoption and cloud-first workflows.
Model Lessons & Coaching
Enhanced support, CPD access, curriculum guidance and early notice of funded opportunities.
